As a matter of fact, it is cheaper than a Toyota Yaris Cross compared to a Corolla Cross, which is its direct rival in fact.

The Japanese brand has claimed it to be of the same performance as a diesel, the electric motor has now increased by 15 hp, which makes the overall system output 205 hp. Moreover, the additional power of 13.6 hp is also offered by the Sport mode.

In other cases, the figures speak volumes: the third-generation Nissan Qashqai e-Power has an average fuel consumption of 4.4l/100km, CO2 emissions of 100 g/km, and a range of more than 1,200km with a minimum power output of 205 hp. However, with the combination of these specifications and a smoother and more consistent handling, we have one of the most attractive powertrains in the market today.

The most important technical aspect is a new 5-in-1 construction that allows the gasoline engine, generator, electric traction motor, inverter, and reduction/ multiplier gearbox to be housed in the same unit. This is a smaller and lighter solution, and based on the brand, it enhances the overall rigidity. This, in reality, means a more efficient and responsive car, and more refined operation.

What is the release date of this new Nissan Qashqai e-Power? The brand assured that it was going to be on the market by 2026, and it will be. Japanese car manufacturer will start manufacturing this new Qashqai e-Power right away, hence we will not have to wait long to see its prices. It is hoped that the first models might be available in the dealerships by end of summer, say in September.

Route 1: Urban and interurban highway driving with 500 km near Madrid. Average speed: 61 km/h. Fuel consumption: 4.9 l/100km. Outstanding!

Highway Route 2: 450 km, mostly flat (660 m above sea level), except final 25km on two-lane local roads. 5.4 l/100km.106 km/h. Remaining range: 557 km. Eco mode. Excellent.

Road 3: 450 km of driving, ascending the sea level to 660 m. Normal mode. Mean speed 104 km/h. 6.2 l/100 km. Range remaining: 477km. Good.

Honestly speaking, as long as the Qashqai e-Power is sold at this price, it will be the car that I will recommend to the person whoever asks me to recommend to the car that fits his or her needs. And there is no other full-hybrid-powered SUV of a mainstream brand that retails at a similar price.
