Aria is the company’s first car 10 years after the release of the Leaf electric car, which is still hugely popular.

The official presentation was held online with the Nissan Pavilion in Yokohama. The concept was presented back in 2019 at the Tokyo Motor Show.

The model was built on the new Nissan Intelligent Mobility platform. Customers will be able to purchase a full- and front-wheel drive version of the car.

All-wheel drive models have the e-4ORCE system, which manages power and braking parameters to make handling smoother and the car more stable.

The crossover will be supplied to the European market in five versions:

Ariya with 63kWh battery – 2WD version is the ideal vehicle for people who commute regularly from suburb to city and back and want to own a next generation quality and stylish electric car. Its power is 160 kW, torque – 300 Nm, up to a hundred accelerates in 7.5 seconds at a maximum speed of 160 km / h, cruising range – 360 km.

The Ariya with 87 kWh battery is a more powerful version with two wheel drive, an upgraded powertrain and an increased range to the next battery charge, capable of making longer trips. Its power is 178 kW, torque – 300 Nm, up to a hundred accelerates in 7.6 seconds at a maximum speed of 160 km / h, cruising range – 500 km.

Ariya e-4ORCE with 63 kWh battery is an all-wheel drive version with an attractive price-performance ratio among models in this market segment. Offers excellent performance and many innovative technologies. These include two traction motors and the e-4ORCE control system for optimal, predictable power distribution to all four wheels. Its power is 205 kW, torque – 560 Nm, accelerates to hundreds in 5.9 seconds at a maximum speed of 200 km / h, range – 340 km.
