The Nissan Teana is a rather handsome executive sedan that doesn’t have a single flat surface on its bodywork. The wide grille, together with the horizontal slats and bent-back vertical headlamps, looks quite unusual for its time. The strong sloping windshield and graceful curved roof make this car more aerodynamic. Beneath the sloping D-pillars is a third row of windows, which is positioned behind the rear doors. Inside, the Nissan Teana has exactly the same infotainment system as the Infiniti range, which features a controller at the top of the centre console.

Base models come with a velour interior. The upper part of the interior trim features leather upholstery, the dashboard is finished in wood, as are the centre console and door panels. The long wheelbase allows the rear passengers to feel comfortable as they have plenty of legroom and overhead space. Under the bonnet, there are three engine types that are mated to an X-Tronic transmission (CVT) that sends power to the front wheels.
