The Nissan Kicks is an excellent example of a well-equipped, economical and perfectly driveable vehicle. Although it doesn’t offer all-wheel drive and the interior retains the heavy use of hard plastic typical of this segment, there’s plenty to love about this model. It really is a pleasure to drive upright. The cabin is light and spacious, giving a great level of visibility.

Nissan Kicks has more steering feel than most of its competitors and the driving qualities are excellent, even though the engine is not overpowering. All models are well equipped, and the mid-range SV offers a quality balance of features. Standard active safety is a huge step up for the 2018 model, especially with the Kicks’ modest starting price. All of this together makes choosing such a vehicle a truly successful decision.
