Back in 2016, Japanese carmakers launched one of the top versions of the popular Nissan Pathfinder Platinum SUV
It’s not just the electronic stuffing that makes this a top-of-the-range vehicle. It is quite capable of pulling up to 3 tonnes on a flexible coupling, together with a full passenger compartment. This is aided by a 3.5 litre V6 engine with 258 horsepower.

The main advantage of the Platinum version is the better equipment, which includes a full range of ‘pluses’. For example, 360 vision for the safety system, which defines pedestrian collision avoidance, traffic sign detection and lane departure warning.

The interior features 7 airbags, a large multimedia touchscreen that can be used to control the climate control or cruise control. The driver’s seat is electrically operated, the windscreen detects raindrops and the wipers are automatically activated.

The interior will help be in both the plain version and the top-spec version, despite the Platinum version.
